Indian

I was born and brought up in Assam. I am proud to be an Assamese, but before that i am an Indian. And any person belives that he /she is an Indian then they have certain responsiblity. Here the word Indian does not denote , a person who is born in India but who love and care for this country. One who belives no matter what language u speak, what religion you preach, what ideology you follow, does not matter for him/her.

But this feeling seems to be veporising from everybodys mind. People are getting fenatic nad violent as if the animal instict of everyone is becoming more and more dominnant. People are loosing its human instinct.

Every person have the freedom of speech and expression. Even this fundamental right are being violated. In the recent news where in the swaring ceremony of Maharashtra bidhan sabha, some so called protector of marathi manoos, so call moral police physically absued another fellow mamber. His fault, he delivered his oath in Hindi.

Recently Sachin Tandulkar said in an interview that he is a proud marathi but an indian first. But the poor fallow got bashed up, some politician even condemned his statement and called him that he is not a good marathi manoos.

In the name of religion, language, cast, politicians are dividing the country. I am feeling so sad as our country is moving towards the same direction as our sister neighbour Pakistan.

God bless India.
